Roadster Blast-Off
A free pixel-art car launch game by Box of Otters. Plays in your browser on phone, tablet and desktop.
Roadster Blast-Off is an arcade launch game. You stop a power meter, the roadster tears around a giant C-shaped loop, and it flies off the top of the ramp. From there it is up to you: tap to fire the thrusters, spin through flips and barrel rolls, bounce off the cast of tech moguls standing on the ground, and see how far the car goes before it lands. Hit the meter just right and the roadster leaves the atmosphere for a neon synthwave sky.
How to play
- Tap or press Space to start the power meter.
- Tap again to stop it. Green is PERFECT. The thinner GREAT, SUPER and ULTRA bands launch harder. Go past them and the engine overheats.
- In the air, tap to fire the thrusters and do a trick. Hold to keep floating while the fuel lasts.
- Bounce off people and drone-ship landing pads on the ground, and unicorns and UFOs in the sky, to keep the run going.
- Spend the coins you collect on launch power, thruster fuel, bounce and aero upgrades.

FAQ
Is Roadster Blast-Off free?
Yes. It is free to play in any modern web browser, with no download, no account and no ads.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It plays on iPhone, Android, tablets and desktop. On a phone it always plays in landscape, so just turn the phone sideways.
How do I launch farther?
Stop the power meter inside the green PERFECT zone. The thin bands at the right edge of the zone (GREAT, SUPER and ULTRA) launch harder, but past them the engine overheats and crashes. In the air, tap to fire the thrusters, bounce off the people on the ground, and grab fuel and boost pickups.
Is there a leaderboard?
Yes. Runs that make the global top 10 can enter three initials, and each entry shows the player's country flag.
What happens on an ULTRA PERFECT launch?
The sky opens. That is all we will say.
